It was a complete fluke how this concept eventuated.   After working for few medium size companies, I needed somewhere to express my creative energy.   With opportunities travelling around at a very young age and while studying in Los Angeles, my father, a visionary who is also my mentor, often demanded that I meet him in a designated country for a study tour, during which always full of wonderful inspiring moments and these positive experiences embedded my learning desire also from a very young age.

I started my own business in 1997 after an extensive study trip to China earlier that year, and it was the last study trip we did together before my father’s passing in late 2000.   During our study trip, we visited few fashion houses and introduced to a variety of successful designers in high-ranking government officials, their creativities fascinated me.   After an extremely care free life style, it was a shock to lean on my own through business world.  I did not want to operate just any fashion stores, I needed something a little bit more challenging and I always interested how clothes should fit individual body shape, as there are so many different variations.  Over the year, the best teachers were amongst my clients, how we worked together finding the best solutions.  I consulted few fashion labels regarding the fit for sizes beyond most designers can produce, also developed “absolutely” brand cotton tee range, a concept that I came across during my study trips in Las Vegas which specifically targeted plus size clients up to size 32.  The rest, as you know it, is history.  

We are in the mids of changing time with retailing, the method of selling and buying is going through a complete over haul. With most of my target customers, mainly baby boomer generation, going into retirement, I sensed it is also time for me to move on to pursuit different challenges in my life. Only with requests of many clients, I am scaling down my service, offering it on a more exclusive level.   Although I assisted many clients of different age and background; over the years I mastered the art on how to style woman over 40 who feel that she needs a little helping hand to kick-start a wonderful change in her life (not just menopause).  To embrace change in a positive way rather than focusing on all the negatives, let it be mother of the bride/groom, anniversary, renewal of your vow or getting married (again).  I created many wonderful memories for my clients and look forward to creating yours in the future.  It is still my passion in making differences in people’s life.  fashion parade
